I will be writing about real conversations but using a fictional character named Robert Turner. This may be your name, so the lessons will fit you perfectly.
“Brother Turner, you have completed the steps to become a Mason.”
“Thank you, Brother Berkley. I appreciate all you’ve done for me.”
“It is my pleasure. But I want to take you on a journey, giving you a different explanation than what you received in the craft.”
“I’m honored.”
“What you must know is no one has a monopoly on universal knowledge. The only monopoly is on the way the information is given.”
“Ok”
“So, I’ll stay away from giving you direct information concerning the rituals in masonry. You will have to connect the dots to what you’ve learned. Trust me, the dots will create the most powerful and beautiful puzzle for your self-growth.”
“Where do we begin?”
“I’m glad you ask. I mainly use one of the 4 sciences in the liberal arts and sciences. It is known as arithmetic, but we call it numerology today.
I will mainly use the Rule of 9, which is also considered modern numerology and Pythagorean numerology. Let’s start with your name. Spell your first, middle, and last name.” I pull out a pen and piece of paper for Bro. Turner to write his name.
“Well, I don’t have a middle name.” Bro. Turner writes Robert Turner on the paper. Then he gives me the paper.
I begin the mathematical procedure, first by breaking down his name, using the Rule of 9 alphabetical chart.
6 5 3 5
R O B E R T T U R N E R
9 2 9 2 2 9 5 9
I place the numbers of the vowels above the name and the consonants below.
Then I add all the vowels separately.
6+5+3+5= 19.
My goal for now is to reduce the number to its natural form. So, I add the 1 and 9, which equals 10. Then adding the 1 and 0, I get the number 1. Brother Turner’s soul number is 1.
Next, I add the consonants.
9+2+9+2+2+9+5+9= 47.
I add or what’s called reduce the numbers 4 and 7. They equal 11. Instead of reducing this further, I stop because the number is the first master number 11. Brother Turner’s character is 11.
From here I add the number 19 and 47 (known as the compound numbers). They equal the 66 which is a master number.
Bro. Robert looks on while I finish up this portion. “What does this mean?”
“The way I explain the process is different than many other numerologists.
You are a powerful brother. Your full name is your potential. It is what you are seeking and the energy you more easily attract to or align with.
The vowels in your name provide your inner guidance. Your vowels or Vow to El (God; the creative force) is the prime motivation in your life or your soul number.
The vibration of the consonants in your name forecasts your personality or character. The consonants explain how you project to the world. In other words, the consonants are how you outwardly affect others.
Some call the consonants your outer personality, and full name is your destiny.
I teach your destiny is your full birth date. I’ll explain later. Let’s focus on your name.”
“OK”
“Your full name shows that you are a master of transmutation (#66). You can take situations and transform them in a masterful way.
People see you as a master inspirer because of the #11.
Your soul number, the number 1, is the real you. It shows that you entered this physical form as a leader.”
“That’s a lot to think about.”
“I know. Interestingly, you have 6 letters in your first name and 6 letters in your last name. Again, showing the master number 66. You are a natural in leading keeping us up with every changing trend. I want you to go research the meaning of each number. Then come back to me.”
“Do you have any suggestions of where I find the meaning?”
“A good book to purchase is Numbers and You by Lloyd Strayhorn. I’ll share my explanation at another time.”
